Hats off to Singapore post, who have celebrated raising postal rates for the first time in eight years, by issuing free postage stamps to 1.4 million households. That's increasing the cost of stamps, and then giving tens of millions away free, just because you can. Along with an explanatory booklet on how to send a letter, apparantely because use of snail mail is on the decline. As if increasing the cost of stamps won't lead to greater use of email anyway. You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried..
