Five weeks since the Sundown (half) Marathon and it goes without saying I haven't been doing a lot of running since. This morning to get back into the swing of it, and having had an alcohol-free week, I decided it might be a good idea to set out on the well known 20km trip to the CBD, along the Singapore River, Gardens by the Bay, and Marina Barrage before looping back home. It didn't end well, and I struggled to run 10km before walking the remainder to the station to, ahem, get the train most of the way home. Poor form.
