Going against the grain of the doom and gloom out there this weekend, some better news.
Firstly, the Australia Network have confirmed they will continue to broadcast the remainder of the AFL season including the Grand Final, and will increase the number of live games per weekend from four to five. This is obviously a massive result all round, from the expats among us in Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong, right through to the bogan tourists in Bali, and even local fans (I assume there are at least some?) watching in the Pacific Islands, India and Vietnam. And particularly for us expat types like myself who will be on holiday in Thailand this time next week, so thanks again AFL and the Australia Network, good result as there had been some doubt as to whether we'd get to see the season out live on the free-to-air.
Secondly (and thirdly), Weird Al is back in action with a couple of great additions to an already top notch discography.

Word Crimes:
Hard to pick a favourite, but Word Crimes is very, very clever the way its presented. Five stars.
