Its been a very timely four day long weekend in Singapore, and a great time to catch up on some sleep, running, eating and drinking. It was also a good chance to clean out the cable drawer, which had an a tangled mess of old Nokia chargers and headphones to sort through. One other item to be ticked off the list was a quick day trip to Johor Bahru for a beer and a feed with a mate on Thursday, to see that it can in fact be done and the Singapore-style Truman Show Delusion is indeed a myth.
Maybe Hari Raya (a major Muslim holiday) wasn't the best day to attempt to make it across the border. In fact the queue on the Malaysian side customs took the best part of two hours to get through. Still undeterred, we soldiered on after finally making it through ended up in a shopping mall that wouldn't have looked out of place in Singapore. It wasn't until we stepped outside that the penny dropped... we weren't in Kansas anymore, and what we had stumbled across had more similarities to India than the little red dot across the Straits.
At Malaysian Customs, oh the pain:

You can trade it in for a new one, but additionally normally only give you half whatever you paid for it or you could possibly sell it on along with. I'm not saying there aren't other great games out there that have been made by Capcom, but for goodness sake. Adding that as well as newer 3D models and better background renders would be great.
